I can't.

I can't be the only person that heard about the events in Minneapolis and feels on edge. Link in the event you live under a damn rock. The issue isn't so much that it happened, though an unarmed person getting shot by an armoured militiaman is terrible already, but its fallout that has me on edge.

Here is Governor Waltz of Minnesota contemplating the use of the State National Guard to go against ICE and Border Patrol to protect his people.

Not bold enough? How about Philadelphia's Police Chief saying they will arrest ICE if they do a "law enforcement action" in their city?

If not a protester pushed too far, or someone taking matters into their own hands in defending a loved one, it will be city or state police that will give all the excuses Trump needs to invoke the Insurrection Act.

If shit happens in the US.

• There will be spillover

• Refugees rushing the border

• At the same time USA, via the Trump Regime, wants to conquer the Western Hemisphere, and Canada is on the short list of targets.

I usually don't talk about politics or current events here, but this is big. The world is in a strange, scary place.

Canada is in a stranger place, with the west looking at us and our Prime Minister as the spearhead for the free world.

A USA Civil War Could be Good for Canada?

What happened in Minneapolis is a flashpoint. A lynchpin event. Perhaps the US will be too busy fighting themselves to invade Canada. Maybe Canada might even get 'caught' supplying a rebellion, and taking full advantage of the US brain-drain in the form of refugees. Stretch themselves too thin, forgetting that their sandwiched between Canada and Mexico.

Mexico has 130 million people with a large, standing, army. Canada, while smaller, are known for having soldiers that are well trained, disciplined, and insane.

It would be a mistake to make an enemy out of that.

Course, be that as it may, only a nut would beg for a war. People die, and shit gets destroyed.
