What of Your Old Streams?

Hello Dreamers.

I saw this weird comment chains from my last post.

Hello Daniel.
The answer deserves its own post.
Background
Since partway through the Pandemic I had been livestreaming gaming. At first on Youtube, and then on Twitch. As expected I didn't get a lot of views or watch time, but I thought I'm going to be gaming anyways, might as well. I played all kinds of games, though the game that attracted the most people steadily was Super Mario Maker 2. By most I mean, 5 views on a good day.
Over time, with no real movement in views, ads, and just getting burnt out from Super Mario Maker, it stopped feeling rewarding. At some point last year, I stopped streaming - the last thing I streamed to twitch being some of No I am not a Human. So I focused on my writing.
Drafting the sequel to Whispers of the Abyss, Beckoning from the Stars, took a lot out of me, in trying to get enough content to match the length of Whispers of the Abyss, and it got weird fast. I was also recovering from having gone to a bunch of trade shows and cons, trying to promote myself. So, even if for fun, I couldn't get an appetite to touch controller.
What I want to do now
So, my idea, is to start streaming games again once the initial edit of Beckoning is complete and in the hands of an editor. Its just, at the moment, I need to get it officially published by the end of May so I can sell copies of it at the (tentative) market in June. Hoping it won't be much longer.
I've also looking into various technology to either build a hustle to get extra income without much work, or to make doing what I do here, easier, like advertising. All while trying to get venues and guaranteed audiences for launches.
