Hello Dreamers!
Let me go over a small milestone that I hit on the last post: the first comment!
Sounded encouraging. They appeared to like what they read in the teaser. I hope they bought the book.
The reaction to the teaser on Youtube is also encouraging with a high like ratio. While the videos were made as part of a paid marketing campaign I hope it does create enough buzz that people will buy the book.
I also have at least two launch events to promote the book. The first one is on April 6th in Toronto. The other one is going to be in mid-March in Barrie, TBA. More details on that as the day gets closer. If you can, make it to at least one of the parties. If not buy a signed copy of the book to at least hang out! I even ordered a special bookplate!
I still plan to stream and code when I can. Recording and editing the audiobook version of this has been taking up a lot of my time. I think it's worth it to open the market to people who can't read - illiteracy, severe ADHD and visual impairment are nothing to be ashamed of.
Though if you got to the end of this post, can you do me a favour and comment? Simply tell me where you found me and my blog: Discord, Facebook, random search, etc. It's nice for me to know who cares enough to read this.
This is not a you problem Shannon don't worry oh I will get your book. I read your about you this Morning and I'm very impressed by your writing and your Background don't give up hope and your Mom sounds like my Mom. I have ADHD and I must be on the spectrum but getting a true Diagnosis for ADHD was a start it explains so many things about my Life. I'm different and it's not my Fault.
I just tried to buy the paperback from Amazon and it wouldn't allow me to purchase I took a screen shot.Said it could not deliver to my address? Maybe cause I live in Florida and they are against art? Our Governor is a real Monster.
You made something and gave it life and I will buy it. I'm really for the first time living in my house by myself and trying to be a grown up. I'm taking baby steps I just took my Daughter to the Airport and she is on her way to Germany now I'm going to try and remember how all this works.
