I was looking some stuff up for a project, and I needed some help picking out fonts. So I turned to Gemini, an AI powered by Google. I went in there and asked for font recommendations for a Satanist quote.

The response:

Throughout history, no historian can find a single group of people who, unironically, worship the Devil. Not a single group that does evil in his name. No Satanic Cults that run around, committing ritualistic rape, sacrifice, and cannibalism.

Those are atheists being edgy goths. At best, they worship and celebrate the idea of Satan being about total freedom and not servitude before a higher power. At worst, it's a repeat of the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster - a group of people wanting to see just what they can get away with in the name of Religious Freedom.

More importantly, there has yet to have been a single act of violence attributable to this group.

There have been cults that have killed or worse, most of which were based on an Abrahamic faith, usually Christianity. Even when their own thing, there was no devil worship whatsoever.

As for the Mansions? Those were Christians - the closest the cult comes to Satan worship has to do with their belief on end of days, where Satan and Jesus will come onto the world hand in hand.

In Conclusion

Hardcore Christians are taught that the devil is everywhere. That demons are lurking around every corner, tempting them, possessing them. That, much like how they love and worship God, there are people who love and worship the Devil. People who sacrifice virgins and drink baby blood to gain the favour of the King of Evil.

This is horseshit.

But no, lets convince everyone and their dog that Satanism is hate, perpetuating stereotypes and spreading propaganda meant to keep people in line.

Especially since I wanted a font for a quote in a project involving a Satanist quote and a certain megalomaniac-voe I promised not to mention again, but tough. Someone making a cover for a heavy-metal band might ask what I asked. None of these are looking for ways to commit ritualistic sacrifice.
