All Helen wanted to do was tend her lord's garden.  So when inquisitors destroy her small village life looking for 'witches' she meets the enigmatic Mel.

Through a burning forest and throguh the deadlands they make their way to the Temple of the Highgod.  Join by a diverse cast of fellow travellers they trek to plea for sanity and mercy.
